JOANNE SHACKELFORD, CPA
Joanne is a native Oregonian, coming to Bend from Southern Oregon and the Rogue Valley. Skiing, hiking, camping, and horseback riding drew Joanne to Central Oregon in 1984. Two adventurous sons and a husband who thrived on local sporting events provided involvement in groups such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Little League, American Legion Baseball, Grandma's House and many other local school and youth activities.
Joanne is a graduate of Linfield College and progressed into public accounting as a second career after many years of office management and private business accounting. Those experiences in everyday business created the backbone of the philosophy of managing her own successful business, as well as her clients.
Joanne is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Economic Development of Central Oregon and the Bend Chamber of Commerce. Joanne now shares her spare time with grandchildren and various rescued animals at her home near Sisters.

J. ADAM GROVES, CPA
Adam is a native Oregonian, born and raised in Prineville. In 2008, he moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he attended McNeese State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a Concentration in Taxation. Central Oregon beckoned him home and he moved back in the summer of 2014.
As a CPA at Azure Tax and Accounting, he works with clients to create long-lasting personal relationships. Individual and business taxation as well as tax planning and retirement planning are his areas of interest.
Adam enjoys spending time outdoors hiking the many great Central Oregon trails. Additionally, he loves cooking, spending time with his husband Michael and daughter Emery, traveling, and reading.

LINDA K. WATTLES,
Linda has been in Oregon since 1993 when she moved to Eugene. She has lived in Bend since 2000. She earned her Associates Degree from Central Oregon Community College and the school still holds a special place in her heart. She went on to attend the University of Oregon where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting .
After many years working in the corporate sector in various industries, Linda decided to switch gears and began an exciting new chapter in tax accounting. Linda's first love is the real estate industry as she worked in title and escrow offices through college.
During Linda's off hours, you can see her riding around Bend on her hand-cycle. You'll notice the bright orange flag before you spot her! Central Oregon is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine and sometimes the cool chill as she sails through on a leisurely ride.
Linda also enjoys raising her two dogs, reading, and spending time with her husband of over 25 years, Jim. Linda is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA's and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

MARY THOMPSON, CPA
Mary was born in Alexandria, Egypt, but immigrated to the United States with her family at just 9 months old. She spent the majority of her life in the Portland, Oregon area, with a 3-year stint in Columbia, Maryland in the early 1990's. In 2018, Mary and her husband, Kyle, relocated to the Lake Billy Chinook area, where they have owned property for 20 years. Her daughter, Hanna, and son, Jordan, remain in the Portland area. Aside from missing the kids, Mary absolutely loves living full-time in Central Oregon and believes the sunshine, lake life, and laid back attitude are good for the soul! She enjoys boating, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Mary is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a devoted Beaver football fan. Win or lose, she enjoys tailgating and the opportunity to catch up with old friends at the games. Mary is a CPA with experience in both public and corporate accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mary is currently transitioning into more of a bookkeeping role and is looking forward to building helpful and lasting relationships with Azure's clients.

MARGARET RICHARDSON, CPA
Margaret lives and works in College Station, Texas. During 2004, Margaret moved to Bend with her husband and began working in public accounting with many of our current clients. In May of 2007, they decided to return to Texas in order to be closer to family and allow Margaret's husband to attend Texas A &M Veterinary School. Prior to the move to Bend, Margaret worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, working with corporate and individual clients. Margaret has worked directly with businesses and their owners for tax and consulting needs.
When Margaret is not working, she is spending time with her husband and children. They enjoy just about anything outdoors.
Margaret is licensed to practice public accounting in Oregon & Texas.
Christine is originally from the East Coast where she enjoyed a career in insurance operations. She joined her son Alex in Central Oregon in 2013 and went to work for a law firm in Bend. Christine met the Azure team while working at the law firm and was excited to follow a new opportunity when the office manager position came available. In addition to her son, Christine has a daughter, Ana, in northern New Jersey, whom she loves visiting in the Garden State. In her free time, Christine enjoys breakfast out with friends, traveling and sightseeing (especially the Pacific Coast), and the company of her two cats.
